Is this game fun?

All the culture war ♥♥♥♥ aside the real question I have.
Is this game fun? Or is it the usual UBIslop where you spend all your time doing pointless and annoying sidequests?

IF you are SW fan, then it's fan as it digs lore and characters. Otherwise it's Assassin's Creed in the Galaxy far, far away...

Boring main character, even worse storyline, sidequests are irrelevant, stealth doesn't work properly to the point of being disabled. Shooting is also boring AF, you only have a blaster with upgrades. Cannot carry anything else for long either. Game has good graphics and sound. This game only has Star Wars label on it. Quite sad though...

if you're a huge starwars nerd than you'll get alot more out of it because it has alot of nods to both the actual lore and other media in general. (anyone who pretends its not packed with actual starwars stuff, to the point where its overpacked with real nerdy starwars stuff, is lying because of the "culture war" stuff lol)

If you're not a huge starwars nerd I'm not sure it would be the most fun game but its fun enough.

yes it had me playing the game for 183 hours
if you like the scifi genre. a good storyline and a relative open sandbox game, with many exploring too do. then this game is for you. you can just play the main story. set difficulty on story mode
it has an beautifull atmosphere, which is immersive. large areas and planets

the only thing they left out is starwars+ so if you do want too begin again "replay value" then all what you already have collected, you have too do all over.
while its better too have starwars+, and start all over again with all your gear and abilities

My only concern is the Ubisoft part of the game, I've been sucked into buy many of the farcry games only to be disappointed at the blandness.

Yeah, it is fun. Doesn´t feel like Ubi at all, feels like Star Wars.
They did a nice job. Not the best they could have done, but nice.
