Steam deck playability

Despite the bad reviews, I'm still dead so I'm wanting to play through this game... My only means in gaming these days is my steam deck. Despite the store page listing it as unsupported want to know is there any possible way to actually successfully play this on a steam deck? I keep getting mixed information on this and I'm trying to get a concrete definitive answer before I spend the money on

Not so far as I know...it requires the ubisoft launcher to play

Here's someone running it on steamos 3.6
I have an OG LCD but haven't tried it there.
I would expect a little jank when outdoors in the more heavy streaming areas but it does seem passable for the indoor action.
The original reviews for this are a moot point now since the gameplay/steath mechanic paradigm is completely different from launch due to the patch before it dropped on steam.
