i don't see how the price has any relation to whether it's single or not
I think he's referring to the fact that some MP-heavy titles had been charging such prices for years. Usually with microtransactions slapped on top of that.

$70 is the standard for aaa games on pc since january 2023, it has nothing to do with whether it's sp or mp
Most AAA titles tend to have some form of MP, though. That allows them to at least pretend you'll get more gameplay out of them than it takes to finish the story.

forspoken, the first game that was $70 on pc, is single player only

again, it has nothing to do with game features, $70 is the standard

$70 is worth it if a game is good. This should only be $15.

Even at 75% off, it's not needed.

WHAT STANDARD? if its good i will get it for 15-20 euro , i have no issue to spend 70 euro but the issue is , these games can change to total garbage

70 is the standard AAA price however good the game is, it can be total garbage but if its an AAA game it will cost 70$

Its been standard on ps and xbox for the past couple years and it slowly became the standard price on pc just 1-2 years ago

If we look at inflation games costed 60$ in 1990s adjusted for inflation those games today would cost well over 100$ gaming is 1 off the few things thats stayed at a similar price point

Dont matter if u see a game as garbage the companies and publishers that makes the games need to make a profit so they put the price at the competative price for AAA games as all other companies does it makes that the competative price its shown the price will get sales and profit while also not deterring too many people from buying it

So no matter how bad a game might be they will still price it at that to make sure they have a good chance to eaither break even or make a profit

Single player? Why would a $70 multiplayer be more worth it?

But, yes. Give it a pass until it's on sale is my recommendation, single-player aside. It's okay, but not $70 okay in my opinion.

For me, the pandering kinda gets annoying. I'm starting to think the galaxy's population must be on a decline for reasons having nothing to do with the war. (They're trying to pander to me, but I feel insulted instead.)

Yet, that's not the problem I have with the $70. For me, it has enough gameplay and content outside the pandering but still not $70 worth of gameplay and content. Some crashes, glitches, and bugs definitely make $70 too far to go. All games have them, but this one has more than many while fewer than some.
