Real or fake Star Wars adventure game?
Been looking on videos on Yotube on this game but it does not really attract me.
Looks like a fake Star Wars adventure.
I now also play Jedi Survivor and that game looks like more a real Star Wars adventure.

So I really like to hear what you players really think about this game?

Check the artwork section, literal #1 star wars fan is just all over that section, (was) the only one who is posting stuff there.

This ain't a fake one, lucas films was involved with the game.

Jedi Fallen/Survivor are action rpg games, more akin to fromsoftware games mixed with star wars. (played plenty of them, and the first one I 100%)

This is an adventure game, you don't level up here, you just explore, sneak, have awesome shootouts, hoverbike racing/traveling, spaceship battles, some puzzles here and there, loads of vania style backtracking in terms of unlocking new ways to get into old areas (the game tells you on the map if you need something that you don't have yet for some areas), mini games consit of card game where you can cheat if you want to, rigged betting (you can also save scum if you want, but you can also find in the game hints who is the rigged racer), some arcade mini games and some give you currency and/or other rewards.
You also have a pet who can fight with you, distracting enemies (playing dead), defending you from grenades (depending on some equipment), leads you to treasures or just can use it to unlock doors or loot for you, also can play dead for you besides enemies.
You also have equipment that you can unlock that have different effects, also set effects, and you can also use transmogs.

Also you have many choices how the faction story unfolds, besides with many mini side stories. You're an outlaw, so you choose who's belly to rub or not, depending what you need at the moment, it affects how easily you can move around in some areas, what discounts you get and stuff you can buy, but you can be friendly with everyone if you're good at sneaking, if nobody saw you, then you didn't do anything bad to them, if you're reckless then everyone will be out to get you.

If you liked star wars games before the lightsaber usage became a thing for main character, or liked the Star Wars series Andor you might like this.

If you ever wanted live in the star wars world as a nobody trying to be somebody without dying in the process, this is the game for ya.
The next game in terms of world scale being bigger than this would be Old Republic online game.

It's as real as the entire thing is fake. It's a story within the SW world. It's a different perspective than the usual Jedi pov. If you enjoy the world of Star wars and can be open on a different perspective it's actually pretty cool.

Your first sentence doesn't make any sense.
"It's as real as fake."
He asked if it's a star wars story or not.

Though not sure exactly what he means by real or fake.
Is it part of the movies and series, then no.
Is it part of the lucas stuff, then yes.

You on the other hand sound like you think if he is asking if it's real like real life or fake.
He was asking if it's canon or not.

Also to the topic creator jedi survivor/fallen, outlaws, unleashed and etc. games are all equally real, but they are not part of the movies/series.

In my opinion Outlaws for Star Wars is what Hogwarts Legacy was for Harry Potter.

Yep, that's the best way to describe it.

This.
Maybe there are no lightsabers, but there is Jabba and Han Solo frozen in carbonite
😉

Given I prefer Andor to the the other stuff Disney grinds out. This game is far up my street.
It's a fun story, more in vein of Andor than anything else. Definitely showcasing the darker side of the SW universe. No secret legacies, mystical powers or grandiose heroics here, at least for the main character. If you like underdog stories, it'll be up your alley.
if you're a fake fan you'll hate this game, if you're a big fan who's read alot of the books and played alot of the other games then this game will be the perfect fan service. Its so much fun walking around and seeing things that the game never mentions but you know what it is and where its from. Lol i've gotten excited in this game over seeing certain droid models or ship models in the backround.

It feels like back when me and my friends would play no jedi runs of the table top game... its honestly one of the best starwars games to come out in a long time. It doesn't beat out the likes of the newer Cal Jedi series but it does an amazing job of letting you explore the starwars world without dealing with jedi politics and that is honestly great.

Be wary of what you hear people say about new games, its a trend for fake fans to go around claiming things are "not for the fans" just to cause a ruckus and get rage bait views/engagement. (which you may be doing here tbh which is why i started with "if you're a fake fan")

I'm a Star Wars snob and elitist. Hate the sequel trilogy, hate most of the shows with the exceptions of most of the Mandalorian, mild enjoyment on Ashoka, and LOVE for Andor. #Bring back Geroge Lucas. JK but kinda not really. =)

That being said you kind of my stance on Star Wars.

To me this feel like a genuine take on Star Wars and its very enjoyable. So far I think they respect the source material (haven't beat it). I am enjoying this game 100% when it comes to gameplay and story. stealth elements are awesome. I hate running and gunning,

As far as optimization, that a whole different story... Games tends to crash here and there on my system. 7800x3d, rtx 4090, 32gb of 6000 ram at cl 30, 990 pro SSD. Game could use some technical work. No reason a AAA game crashes as much as it does on a bleeding edge system.

Get the game if you are like-mined with my Star Wars taste. No Acolyte garbage here.
