Hi, I appreciate the feedback. 💯
Unfortunately the two handed mod, is just a skin.
I find it utterly baffling that they would implement this temporary "other weapon" rule.
Firstly...
As it makes...
And secondly.
As the game has gotten so much bad press, in comparison say, the superb "Jedi The Final Order." That this is on half price sale after a few months.
Anyone would think it would be a..
Especially when EVERY other successful shooter on the market,--
(Shes shooting so its a shooter)
-- has one of the core elements being weapons.
Look at borderlands, that is THE core element.
Not to mention Halo, COD, Titanfall 2, and on and on.
Forgive the big blue typing, and the rant. 😌🙄😔 that was in no way directed at your excellent self.
just my absolute bewilderment, And frustration. And by the look of it, I'm in a huge queue.
Here's REALLY hoping they come to their senses, and bring this.🤞🏻
Thanks again for the feedback,
Very much appreciated.👍🏻
EDIT.
To the poster above. Thank for the feedback.
however.
That is the whole point.
To give the option of either stealth, or gun-play.
Its all about options, and variety. Its not like the game is breaking down doors with sales.
So every additional option to bring new purchases would be a good thing.
I never told them how to play the game. I Simply suggested, based on their post and the lack of mods/hacks providing what they wanted, that they may want to look elsewhere for entertainment.
I don't expect Ubi will make whatever changes they are asking for. Clearly their vision is different than the OP's.
I play on normal but I find the gun play fine in it's current form. You have the option to use other weapons for a short time to clear a room or something and that seems to work at least for me. They already changed it so you can carry any weapon you pick up from one POI to another. I only bring these points up to engage with the OP's points in their 1st reply.
Nicely said. I appreciate it, gave you 2 awards.👍🏻
Just me posting, "Andy," a guy. I'm not multiple people.
No harm done.
The "You should probably just seek entertainment elsewhere." was a little odd,- (but again, no harm done) -seeing as I already own the game.
And just,- (along with MANY MANY others,) -want the additional, "real world," if it was a real world, logical option of choosing to keep a second long gun, in addition to my blaster.
And your words, quoted below.
"They already changed it so you can carry any weapon you pick up from one POI to another."
End quote.
Prove they know people want this option of keeping the other guns.
So again, seeing as the sales are struggling due to various factors.
One would think, a game replay option, as well as adding it to more fully the "shooter" genre, <-- a MASSIVELY loved genre, with this simple fix, would already be implemented.
Bringing new sales, as well as more favourable reviews.🤞🏻💯
Here's hoping.
Thanks for the feedback.
I know the word "pronoun" can be contentious but I used the word them out of respect because I did not know yours.
I'm certainly not opposed to more options. Especially ones that can be used or not depending on your taste so I'll hope with you.
Kudos.
Nice reply.
Awarded. 👍🏻
I like to think of Outlaws not as a semi-realistic shooter, but more as rule-based tactical stealth game. It's not Half Life. Players are presented with a challenge and a set of rules to work with or around.
If for example Kay could use any weapon from the start (of every location / quest) it would make her OP, she could snipe every enemy, rendering the stealth part useless. So she can use weapons, but only by picking them up and until they're depleted. IMHO they should have dropped that too and have Kay only work with what she already has.
Another example is climbing and grappling. Every location has a layout and if there's no grappling point you can't use it freely. Approaching a new location also 'resets' Kay to her default equipment.
Outlaws doesn't encourage players to storm fortresses head-on. The whole game revolves around Kay not being able to do a Schwarzenegger one woman army thing. Restricting weapon usage is kind of necessary.
