Probably Ubisoft's way to not want people to "save scum", which is dumb. Players should be able to save whenever they want. I can understand not saving in combat, but everywhere else should be made possible.
i am talking about teh first non-intro world..im not in the intro mission...i left the intro world and crashed into the first mission world
You weren't always able to shoot it out when in restricted areas. So in locations where getting spotted meant getting caught and ejected from an area, saving inside could get you stuck in a getting caught loop. Same reason a lot of games don't let you jump while you're in the air, so you're not likely to get stuck loading your game an instantly falling into a pit.
