He says he has ADHD, is autistic and has a massive star wars collection which is backed up by his profile.
Gotta appreciate such dedication to a hobby, it's nice to see.
It is the only artwork there and it is pretty awful to be honest so not missing anything.
it´s really a shame that this IP has suffered as much as it did after the mouse took over. it´s really something to have the license to print money in hands plus a dedicated fanbase to turn something semi-decent into gains, just to end up ruining everything by going short-term profit + ideology-pushing.
normal customers just leave, while the hyperfans are left to pay the tab for absolute slop.
star wars always had bad (&good) games from start, but at least back in yesteryear the devs tried to create something for the audience, rather than some imaginary champaign-commie utopia group of people. maybe the dev studios look more "diverse" now, but from a point of perspective & philosophie, they seem to be completely uniform, at least from creative side of things.
i´d appreciate a remake of jedi knight outcast + academy (with maximum mod support) (again, that´s just printing money when done at least decently), but certainly not from the current devs, who obviously hate their own customers.
maybe things get better in a couple of years after more rounds of mass-layoffs or when the IP is handed to people whose main goal isnt to change (/degenerate) it.
i wanted to see how much actual interest in this AAA(A) product is and the artwork tab is an easy & very effective indicator.
sadly in current year (and with the amount of sales), steams actual review score is easily manipulated and/or vacuous, while the artwork tab rarely lies. sure, it´s not perfect, but it simply is more work to make a bunch of bad AI art and upload it (example: payday 3).
anyway, one of the best known IPs on the planet, AAA(A) product with a 75% positive rating and the whole artwork tab is just 1 guy, that says a lot about the quality of this product.
going back to the payday 3 example, those bad AI art mostly showed up after pointing out how empty the artwork tab is... go figure.
compare that to mediocre slop (gameplay-wise) like the first descendant, a "free" game.
obviously i unblocked him after this test.
personally i find it hilarious that this guy essentially has his own AAA(A) artwork tab to do whatever he wants.
no matter the quality or how ones opinion on this stuff is, >>>anything<<<< he uploads is positive for this product (which says a lot about this product), bc an actually empty artwork tab is death-sentence beyond what the devs seemed to have tried to make with this slop.
again, we´re not talking about an 0,50 cent game made by 1 guy over the weekend, which 99.999% of steamusers will never click on.
this is a AAA(A) star wars (AAA IP) game that cost probably around 150-400 million $... and this guy is the only one with enough passion to the IP to upload anything.
not even the devs or die hard shills care enough to upload a single thing.
just this one guy does.
if this doesnt perfectly encapsulate the current year insanity, i dont know what does.
think about it.
