Users report that the Vulkan mod doesn't work on RTX 4000 cards, and only works on a few RTX 3000 cards.

The hotfix Ubi released on Day 1 does seem to be working though. They said it was a temporary fix that might affect performance, but I haven't had any crashes since, and I haven't noticed any perceptible drop in performance.

I read that Windows Update would not apply the 24H2 to your PC if you have any of those games installed.

But even having four of those games installed, Windows Update still wanted to update my PC last night with 24H2.

So did Microsoft fix the issue or not?

Either way, someone royally screwed the pooch. this kinda crap shouldn't happen.. ever. Launchers for companies are totally separate from an OS, ore at least are SUPPOSED to be. Fun times.

The problem is only with ubisoft games. It's up to them to fix it.

When your game studio is such hot garbage that your titles, and only your titles cause a stability problem with the an entire operating system.

That ain't a fix, that's a workaround, though Vulkan is prolly much better than DX12 with ubisoft games, as I've seen with Breakpoint.
But you can't use DLSS with that.
