Sus reviews
They almost all have just over 2 hours of playtime.... with the one or two having more. Seems extremely sus.

Just like all the negative reviews.

makes since if a negative review would only have 2 hours, but why do positive reviews only have 2 and not more if they liked the game so much why wouldn't they play it more than the minimum required time to make a review?

Another flop in 2024. Lets hope this will heal industry

I always set a lower limit on the Playtime setting for reviews. Sure. That means I have to wait longer after a game releases, but after a certain game was released last year, I'm more than willing to wait.

(There's a lesser-anticipated game arriving next Feb that I am highly anticipating, but I'm still not going to preorder or buy it day 1. I'm sure it'll be just what I want, and I've no reason to doubt the developer [unlike several other bigger names recently], but I've thought such things prior to my eventual disappointment with other games.)

Not even sus, it's a delayed launch with 1k players at launch lmao. Those are all the gamedevs.

they blame the audience for having "high standards". they learn nothing from this.

I think most negative Starfield reviews on Steam are fake too. According to the Steam achievements, 10% of players have never even been to space, which happens during the first 15 minutes of the prologue.

starfield like fallout 3 and skyrim is bad from start to finish. you don't need to wallow in dirt for x amount of time to understand it's unhealthy for you.

I don't know why that would seem sus?

I just looked at the store page, and the hours didn't stand out to me as a problem.

The only problem I see is if you look in the recent reviews, the negative ones all have 100+ upvotes, while the positive ones have almost none.

Then, if you look at the main reviews, the top 7 are all positive, not to mention the "mostly positive" rating, that to me is a little sus.

Try not to over-think it. I'm sure Ubi has an unpaid intern in charge of social media and getting coffee.

Yeah, all you need to do is stay 30 minutes in title screen, not doing anything and then say you hate it and refund.

For the industry to heal, the crappy companies need to go first.

Or you know they played it on gamepass.
