I avoided remakes and remasters, and clearly, you are so wrong, but I do admit that nostalgia is powerful.
For context on how i feel about certain games, I like cyberpunk 2077 but i think its mid and bad. Its about misses and weird failures/short comings.
"IF" they do it, they obviously are not hidding all negative reviews, they know this would be too obvious. A game on steam has to be at least mostly positive. A "mixed review" is usually a death sentence, something ubisoft can't afford.
Very good point, as a daytrader I love me a cognitive bias, lol.
Shame we can't trust gaming journos though. I see fake hype about upcoming games on a daily basis from Youtubers as well, who are just happy to get those keys for free.
Don´t get tricked!! Yeah, for sure giving Steam users the normal features everyone else has it´s a step on the right direction. But it´s a very very small step, forcing Uplay and Denuvo for Steam users it´s still quite bad.
And on a personal note, I just feel Ubisoft needs to change their model, their maps with a gazillion irrelevant icons for collectibes, towers and what not it´s a real meme, and so are their HUDs. The way they over-exploit any of their franchise with a minimun succcess while leaving behind everything else it´s also something to behold.
For me, they still have a long road ahead before I buy any of their products again.
Yes, that does happen in some cases. But both can be happening at the same time. (This can also be done the opposite way. Buy the game just to leave a good review and then refund because you don't care about the game, just the politics).
Also if large scale review bombing would be going on (positive or negative), I would expect far more reviews than the 100-ish that it currently has. As stated before, the game has been out for a while already. The majority of people have already moved on.
Division 2 was the same deal at launch , Avatar of pandora ..
and there's both great game
my worry even ubisoft can fix , add some new feature on certain aera they can't deo nothing now , for example the "bizarre"/strange chara design of the main character ..
or the game ( may be because of disney ) is a bit too soft , even old Lego star wars have more mature contents and gore elements xD
i see star wars oultaws , a game with a lot potentiel but on few erea it feel rushed , not well exploited , great visuals , great cinematique , some dood cliff hanger but too "soft" ,timid , limited on the story telling , gameplay , ..
