Rather than just bash on the game some more, here's why this is actually happening.
This is what is called the "survivor bias".
You can only post a review when you've actually bought the game.
A lot of people have already seen what this game has to offer and opted out from the start.
This effect is strengthened by the fact that it's already been released for a while. People had more time to make an informed choice before buying it on Steam. And people just generally not liking what current day Star Wars has to offer. The result is that all the people posting reviews have been heavily pre-selected to have a positive look on the game. The rest already fell off before the purchasing step of the review process.
People know about the game that it's bad -> low player count.
Apparently, out of 9 billions of people, there are still millions who can buy these games and be all cutesy about having the exact stupidly superficial niche they care about at the given moment (and will forget come next month), so that they judge the whole thing as great.
It is not unfair to attack a game that is ridiculously overpriced, comes bundled with malware, and still requires a UBISLOP account to play.
Anyone that thinks the above is OK, is part of the problem with gaming we currently have.
Was suppose to be crap told you who?
Cause every review I´ve seen it´s basically just "meh", the people who seem to be extremelly negative are the folks that in their thumbails have stuff like "WOKE TRASH", a picture of the female protagonist with googly eyes and then the youtuber with a fake shock face over the thumbail, then the video is 40 minutes of a white male incel going "real woman don´t look like this, real woman don´t move like this, real woman can´t do this physical thing because I´m a slob and I can´t" etc, etc, etc.
So yeah, if you are into aspergold, quartering, that fat guy screaming about FOCKEN PROONOUNS or any of those rage click scammers, certainly the game has being deemed bad. Every other normal youtuber is mostly on "meh", some citing some positives and some negatives, it seems it´s a normal Ubisoft afair, so depending on how much you enjoy those, this one will be similar.
"Grammar, too leftish for my taste"
Only 600 people playing this Game on Steam is pretty bad for a so called AAA(A) Star Wars Title. And the reviews are mostly positive here, but no one wants to play it. Sounds pretty fishy to me.

I avoided remakes and remasters, and clearly, you are so wrong, but I do admit that nostalgia is powerful.
