The Fake/Goofy Reviews LMAO
Seriously, some of you have less than an hour in.. many have like .1 hours, which is like 6 minutes of gameplay lmfao..

So either you had the game on Ubisoft already (or Ubisoft+), then purchased here just to leave a bad review, or you're just review bombing it to be that type of person.

I played the game on Ubisoft, it's not the best, it's not the worst. Has a lot of potential, and a lot of fun things, and glitch things to it. If you're considering it but are on the fence, go do 1 month of Ubisoft+, try it out then decide what to do.

Too many fake A** reviews here, just for the sake to review bomb it. Sure, there are a few that mentioned they had it on Ubisoft, but why come buy it on Steam, give them more $$, just to leave a bad review. Either way, cracks me up.

There's no review bombing going on. The amount of total reviews - both positive and negative - the game has wouldn't be enough to be considered a review bomb.

Besides, if they spent $70 or more on a game and took the time to download 65GB, they can leave any review they want.

The really petty/goofy people are the people like me who aren't even committed enough to buy the game but would visit the forums in defense or criticism of the game.

Also, nice try Ubi employee. But you're not going to convince me to try Ubisoft+ /s

What about the 0,1 hour negative reviews?

People are review bombing it, like.. less than a minute played and a random negative review. I have 50 hours on it on my PS5, it's an awesome, I beat it, still plan to keep playing it as DLC comes out and working towards the platinum trophy. I also plan to revisit in a few years and 100% the steam version, because I'm a huge Star Wars fan who honestly enjoys this game, a lot. Like.. I wish there would be Kay Vess novels and comics to continue her story because I got attached and want more.. I doubt there'll be a second game.

Steam will eventually remove all the 'given free' and the reviews will go up. Unfortunately, you have a bunch of snowflakes that "have to play a giiiirrrrllll...." when they want to play with boys.

Let 'em whine....

"NO, those are legit reviews, it´s the positive ones that are fake!! nobody bought this game on console and liked it, because this youtuber that lives in a dumpster of his own making and used a death rat as an alarm clock made like 3 videos saying how woke the game was, so there´s that, now apologize and make your own negative review".

It´s the 21th century, nobody is allow to have an oppinion unless a person with followers online has provide you with one, silly on your part to not know it, tssk, tsk, tsk.

I'm noticing the opposite.

A lot of the positive reviewers have <2 hours & their 'recently played' showing other games right after. Half seem seem to be porn-sim,anime,furry gamers too.

Yes, negative reviews with .01 hours played which then miraculously get over 500 "helpful" ratings are totally legit. Anyone who buys the game is able to leave a review that counts in the overall score but that doesn't mean these "reviews" have any value to anyone else. At this point the user reviews might as well be taken down.

The game came out months ago, Ubisoft just thought the game was worth making exclusive at first. lol

I find it ironic that people are complaining about negative review bombs and yet many people are suspiciously silent when games get positive review bombed. If you take the time to read most of the positive reviews, you'll realise that the vast majority lack any kind of nuance and independent critical thinking. You'll get crappy reviews that will say stupid nonsense like:

“Wolf 10/10” -Resident Evil Remake
“ You can pet Kitty” -Momodora: Moonlit Farewell
“Came for the vampire, came because of the vampire. 10/10.” – BG3
“Make Us Whole.” -Dead Space Remake
“Panam Palmer” -Cyberpunk 2077

In what universe can these be considered constructive reviews? Spoiler: None.
What many of these “reviews have in common is that they’ll recommend the game but don’t go into detail on why they recommended the game. There is no mention of what they like, what they don’t like and what needs improvement. And believe me, every game out there can do with some improvement. Like I said, the vast majority of people that post reviews completely lack nuance. If I were on the fence about buying this game, most (say 95%) of the reviews would be utterly unhelpful. And you’ll see sees type of lazily thought-out reviews on nearly every game on Steam. Like I said, this is positive review bombing.

When you people start criticising these positive review bombs then I'll take you seriously. Until then, you don't have a leg to stand on.

My point was that review bombing does indeed go in both directions. If you can't see that, well I don't what to tell you except that you're not paying attention.

Personally I dislike both types of review bombing and I am only interested in reading reviews that actually contains substance and nuance. Sadly though, there are not many of those which is why Steam's review system is worthless.

You're right. The user reviews arn't needed. It's easy to find all information you need on a game on youtube, and make a educated opinion.

But usually the general consensus of a game will never have the real reviews. A overly bad game will many times have a higher review score IF the game's state is known before hand. Like Dragon Age's latest release. Many didnt buy it, and wont review it, and they dont have to buy it to KNOW it would be a awful experience to them. Thus, even if the general concesus would be that a game is bad, those that buy it regardless of general opinion, leaves a positive review while the majority goes unheard.

Agreed on reviews, the option should be removed.

Lmao. Ubi Employee? lol Don't try it then, that's what I did to try out the game. $20 to basically rent the game for a month instead of paying $70? Seems like a no brainer to me.

My thing is, no one can leave an honest review in 6 minutes of gameplay. So that's either review bombing, or they played it already.. in which case, they just spent another $70 to either leave a positive or negative review, which is insane to me.

I'm not mad, I think it's beyond goofy to spend $70 just to leave a bad review or positive review. So either it's review bombing, or they've already played it and spent $70 just to leave a bad review on a game you already don't like, is nuts to me
