Is the Wild Card DLC worth it?
I don't see any reviews of it online or on Steam yet--is it any good? Digging the main game on Uplay (awful launcher but whatever), just wondering if it's a good DLC/how many missions it has/how much emphasis on Sabacc/etc

Wild Card DLC just came out on all platforms, that's why there are no reviews for it.

The Lando mission was very meh - You get some loot from it, don't remember what exactly, but the mission itself is basically just a delivery mission; go to the ice world, play the card game, deliver the chip to another world, ugh oh a shootout, and done

Gotcha. So it's just one big long mission, then over with?

Just going off the dlc description - I played it on Ubisoft+ where all the dlc was already unlocked and not itemized.

I want to say you get some cosmetics and a card game chip from it, but it's not even a particularly long mission.

Played it on PS5 of my partner today in 1 sitting. It is one segmented mission that is 2 to 3 hours longs.

There are some new environments but zero new assets. Just stuff you have seen before. You also can’t go back to the locations when you finished the mission. The mission is a compilation of all the mechanics of the base game paced decently.

I would wait for a deep sale to pick the season pass up, unless the second one is much meatier.

Got it. So this mission is kind of like those "pre-order to get a bonus mission" types that are completely expendable/skippable, rather than a proper expansion pass mission set with real narrative heft? That's a shame

From a narrative and gameplay point the mission is better, longer and more varied than those extra bonus stuff. But way too expensive tbh. It also has nothing to do with the main story either.
