Why is this game so expensive?

it sold so poorly so I guess they decided to make it stupid expensive as a last resort. Anyone who wants to play it just go get that 15 dollar thing on ubisoft's launcher and save a ton of money.

$20 in such a short time is a bit unrealistic. Then again, it seems a lot of reviewers who thought the game was just "okay" feel that $70 is also unrealistic.

(While the base game is 25% off, the first DLC is not and pushes the price tag back over $70. The two other editions with a season pass are both over $70 even at 25% off.)

-50% was their only chance of selling this game. AC Shadows is going to be the final nail in the coffin. There's nothing they can do to save it from being a disaster anymore.

It's practically brand new still. Even with all the sheeple spamming the internet with their nonsense, the game seems to be doing well enough.

I'm waiting for a deep sale since I already beat it on Ubi+. It was great.

The fact that it's on Steam 3 months after release is a testament of it not doing well. The game flopping is literally the only reason why Ubisoft brought it to Steam so quickly.
