How is Star Wars Outlaws DEI or Woke?

Genuine question. From what little I know and can find out:

1) the player character is a) female and b) unattractive
2) there are female Stormtroopers

Is this it or are there other concerns.

For me, 1 and 2 makes me roll my eyes, but it isn't enough for me to not consider buying it.

I do not like DEI/Wokeness in my games, but I'm unaware of this having immersion breaking DEI/Wokeness levels or issues. Please correct me if I'm wrong as I'm considering purchasing the game.

I can only repeat myself from other places and you will find how hyper fast your question here will dwindle into pure hate spill but here I go at least:

No I do not find the game woke.
Nothing is in your face, the lead is female yes and has debateable features on a personal taste level but what about that is woke?
Yes there are female officers and Stormtroopers (shocking I know) but other than that, I was not aware of anything else.

Not that I inquisionally play the game and search for it but I really cannot name you anything that would fall under that category whatsoever or made me halt and roll my eyes cause it was forced into and feels cringe. (The point you are propably actually asking about)

I rather enjoyed it for what it is actually and that is a great Star Wars setting.

Is it not enough that ubispit hasnt ever made a good game? Why would this be different? B/c they slapped Star Wars on the title?

Yes, I was asking for cringe issues, in your face DEI/Woke stuff.

I can get over a female character, female antagonists, white antagonist, etc. Doesn't bother me in terms of cringiness. I see a lot of people making the claim that SWO is DEI/Woke, but I'm not seeing how other than a few people not liking a few things I mentioned above, which again, I don't necessarily care for, but it just gets an "eye roll" out of me, not a "I won't buy" position.

I enjoy many Ubi games. Far Cry is one of my fav franchises. I've also enjoyed some of the AC games. So won't dismiss an entire game catalog from a dev/publisher just because they make some bad games.

Each game should be evaluated on its own merits.

Kind of the vibe I'm getting. People had high hopes for the game and it turned out to be mediocre. Not sure why that always leads to a group of people trying to paint it as woke.

That said, I haven't played the game yet. Just going off general consensus from people who have, and the ones calling it woke haven't even played it.

Been a while since I played it, but the most glaring thing I remember is that there was not a lot of men in important roles. Seemed like almost every "contact" I had to meet was a woman.

But even then, being dei/woke is the least of this games problems. Its not sold well for a reason. It sucks at everything it does.

I don't think there's any DEI in this one tbh, I think the devs were just trying to go for a retro 80s style look with the protagonist but they suck at actually making characters like alot of other devs.
But the game is just bad in general and the writing is similarly flat like alot of the DEI games.

I think people found it very strange that the actress they modelled the character on is gorgeous in real life but uglified in the game to avert the male gaze.

Other complaints are that the game is poorly designed and too safe and boring.
