Disney has already brought in a number of Expanded Universe characters through the side door. Thrawn and the TIE Defender for example. Arguably through the Clone Wars a number of other characters were also made canon like like Darth Bane or Revan. Also I don't see it as cringe, but solid gameplay to give players a number of options on how to finish a mission.
I actually enjoy the game but they are stupid for not releasing at least some choices of character look given the amount of criticism they got.
Ubisoft are very out of touch when they can't even understand that this simple thing has lost them so many sales.
speak for yourself, teenager.
They can't even pull a proper AC in Japan.. if they can't even do that what hope does any of their future games have?
I realize that not everyone is willing to use mods. But many gamers don't mind, and if the only reason for not buying the game (or at least, the biggest reason), was the character design, then many gamers can easily rectify this issue.

I know for me, I would have to use this mod to play the game as I hate the design of Voss.
Oh wow! I've never really used many mods.
This is really great. Just what the game should have had by default. Especially with the different races.
Thanks so much for sharing this.
I've never really had an issue with the look of an in game character and i'm not expecting Stellar Blade style thirst in a Star Wars game (although an option would still be nice) but the design of Kay is just absolultey attrocious like there is something actually wrong with the model. She looks horrific and grotesque and then they give her that aggrivating hair style.
It's like they actually spent months in a board room committee trying to remove absoultely anything that could be deemed attractive and went as far as they could into disgusting.
Ubisoft need to gut their entire middle management and start over.
