Bug or feature? Gavril MD short driveshaft fragile

I set up a Dakkar-esque config for the new truck, boasting as many performance parts as it would let me,

I opted for the Shorty "Pickup bed" chassis but notice that hitting the brakes even at low speeds seems to be shattering the rear drivetrain.
It only happens on the Pickup Bed chassis with the 2 foot long rear driveshaft, extending the frame to any other option without changing anything else doesn't break the shaft.

My first thought was overtorque, I mean I have a nuclear setup with a high rpm governor and 4 wheel drive, but it wouldn't explain why it only breaks the shortest one, and under heavy acceleration uphill and over jumps does not break it.

Kinda looks like it corresponds with the slightest lockup of the rear wheels (no anti-locks on airbrakes after all) but even at speeds as slow as 20mph shatter it.

I've noticed this too, and can confirm both that it's only the pickup chassis and that it seems to be when the rear wheels lock up, as well as possibly only when configured for 4WD. My guess would be that it's because the 4WD doesn't have any kind of differential between the front and rear wheels, so the rear wheels locking produces a large torque force on the driveshaft since the front wheels don't lock at the exact same time. Since the driveshaft on the pickup bed is so short, this torque causes it to just snap like a piece of uncooked spaghetti.

Even though it makes some sense because physics, I wouldn't be surprised if it gets patched because it is an issue that makes some configurations of the MD practically unusable.
