game Launcher is not opening

yes, i uninstalled the game and reinstalled the game.
yes my drivers are up to date
yes i verified the game files
yes my PC is compatible
i am not the only one having this issue.
im guessing the update broke something

no it does not give me an error message
it does not appear in task manger

i tried this on my other pc and it does the same thing, so its a account related thing for some reason.

Update
the launcher opens when i play the beta version which means the new update broke something which is causing the launcher to not open.
help spread the news

update update:
i found an alternate solution,
go on steam
go to beamng properties
go to beta and select the newest beta version or any if it works.
wait for it to download.
once it opens the launcher, go to the location settings and set it back to default
once done, go back to the beta setting and change it back to none and wait until its done then it should open the launcher.

Had the same problem, I validated files and that didn't seem to work, ran as admin and it didn't launch at all then after waiting a few minutes it launched... have no idea if that was the fix
EDIT - Seems it just takes a few minutes to actually open through steam.

unfortunately this still did not work for me

i uninstalled it from a drive and installed it to the system and its still not launching

For those having the issue of the launcher not coming up when clicking play, go to this location in the registry (right click the windows button, click run and type regedit) go to this file location: Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\BeamNG\BeamNG.drive
and then delete the entire folder entry. Go back to steam and click play. it should now load the launcher:)
