Default Camera and Replays

I chose the default camera as "Driver" but the one that I get initially in scenarios is the "Chase" camera.
When I record a replay during a scenario, right after the recording is stopped, the replay plays as normal, but afterwards, when you play the replay in any other way, the player's vehicle disappears completely from the replay. (By the way, what happened to the "Freeroam" button after a scenario is finished?)
