Report a translation problem
I don't think that's even possible, in particular if you use FFB, as it will conflict between the two devices.
Are you sure it's not caused by a mod you installed recently? In any case, check with all the mods disabled.
If persists, go in Options > Controls > Hardware and check if the bindings are working in there (you should see the axis moving).
If they do work there, check that your bindings are correctly set (or reset them from the 'RESET ALL' button)
The Options > Controls > Hardware menu.
Move the steering thumbstick so that I can see it moving in the menu.
The Options > Controls > Binding menu, so I can see how the 'Steering' is binded.
Also click on the binding, so that I can see all it's options. Move the thumbstick again so I can see it in the orange-ish graph.
In-game, with the 'Steering' app visible ( https://wiki.beamng.com/Editing_UI ), moving the thumbstick, so that I can see what's not working there.
Upload the video on youtube or similar and post here the link.
