when dlss? eyes bleed with default anti-aliasing
I believe that would require quite a bit of work on their end, and they have a lot more important things to fix before fixing aliasing (General performance in 4k being one of them).

There was a community work around for something similar, but they stopped developing for anything other than ETS2 and ATS.

I have used Lossless Scaling, and it works Ok-ish on a single monitor, as long as you do not expect DLSS quality. I have not been able to get it running correctly on multi-monitor though.
BeamNG is more CPU bound than GPU in my experience, so unless you're pretty badly mismatched (IGPU or otherwise undersized GPU) I don't see a lot of benefit to upscaling.
I can think of other upgrades to the graphics pipeline that I'd rather see (particularly with lighting and shadows) before upscaling.
DLSS? Any news?

First, I was unexpectedly a lot more right than I expected to be when I posted in this thread about a month ago. The game is receiving a DRAMATIC lighting upgrade.
As well as an overall graphics pipeline upgrade to DX12. This does open the door for implementing upscaling technologies.
However, the team is, as of me typing this, heads-down on making us not need upscaling by having dramatically improved optimization from the jump.
More importantly, the game is being ported to PS5, which cannot run DLSS due to being a Radeon APU. If upscaling DOES happen, it'll be based on FSR.
Since FSR3 and less are generally hated by the community, and FSR4.5 that'll run on a PS5 or older Radeon isn't happening for at least a year, the idea of implementing it probably isn't even on the team's radar. They have MUCH bigger fish to fry.

It is not about performance. Many people want DLSS4/4.5 FSR4 for there anti aliasing feature not for there upscaling feature. I can easily play in 4K native on my computer but it still looks bad. There is a way too much aliasing everywhere. Newer version of DLSS and FSR4 used at native resolution completely get rid of the aliasing.
theres a mod for DLAA idk if its the same but did job in boosting my fps a bit
