BeamMP hard crashing your PC?
I've had this problem for some time now, where i've played BeamMP for about 1-1,5 hours and the game would just crash to a point where im forced to shut down my computer from the power button. This is guranteed to happen after a hour of playing for me atleast. Anyone else has this issue? This is the only game where this happens to me. It can't be my computers fault, every other game works just fine.

BeamNG is a very CPU intensive game, have you checked the temperature of your CPU? It may have to do with old thermal paste or improper application of thermal paste. Alternatively, try using safe mode, it may be an issue with mods

Hello, I’ve just had same issue like you, my both screens went black and I needed to restart my computer manually. So no, you are not alone.
does playing beam with full traffic cause similar problems
maybe also try running a longer CPU and GPU stress test
if yes its probably your CPU being overloaded and overheating or overloading your PSU
might also be running out of ram. do you experience stuttering when otherwise playing?

also forgot to ask
specs?

I have RTX 4090, i9-12900, 1000W PSU, 64gb ram, i think it was some windows update error or just beammp cause, i had some problems before but im just hoping it wont happen again

I used to have this issue but I upgraded my ram and now I don't have it anymore.

and how do you upgrade your ram?

Get another stick of ram (making sure it's the highest ddr your motherboard is compatible with, usually ddr-4 or ddr-5), open up your PC and put it in one of the ram slots. Although 64 GB of ram should be more than enough, my game runs perfectly with 16 GB

I've had a similar problem, where after 5-30 mins, my PC would restart without warning, which I found was caused by damaged ram (specifically, one tiny probably resistor having been rammed off when I was putting the stick in and slipped). This happened very rarely in other games as well, though mostly BeamNG. I suggest checking your ram for irregularities in the pattern that the chips, resistors, etc. are located. If you have multiple sticks of ram and one looks damaged, try removing the damaged one and see if that fixes it. The game may complain about high ram usage, but that's pretty normal if you are running around 16 GB or less

i think it was just app issue, it was BEAMMP, not BEAMNG (multiplayer of beamng, which is very buggy)

There is a reason why I switched to a server to game on ram 524gb dual cpus and a geforce rtx 2060

People cannot help you if we don't know your specs. If I were to guess, your system is probably overheating.

BeamMP requires you to connect to a stranger's computer, and isn't moderated. So as far as I know, there be viruses.
