30fps with 32gb ram
Hi, I've been playing the game for about 2 years. For some time I was playing at 30 fps on 16gb ddr4 ram, but recently I changed to 32gb ddr4 ram, but the game still runs at 30fps. I have ryzen 5 4600h gtx1650ti and 32gb ram. Does anyone know what the problem is?

More ram doesn't necessarily mean more FPS. What graphics settings and resolution are you playing at anyway?

if you have graphics on medium, high or ultra, this is why you have 30 fps

FPS isn't effect by your RAM, it's your Graphics card and your CPU. RAM effects how many cars you can load and how fast they can load. Upgrading your graphics card will get you way more FPS
if u choose to upgrade your gpu then make sure your cpu is able to keep up with the newer graphics card because if it dosent then their is no point in upgrading

I'm pretty sure that's a laptop so there's no upgrading it.

Once you have enough ram adding more wont help since either the gpu or cpu is the limit and not the ram.

Probably should've spent the money on a better gpu or cpu. kind of overkill on the ram. Of course it will help, but theres only so much it can help before its useless.

its like running it on a gtx 970 with 64 gbs of ram and then asking why it runs so bad.

As you are using a mobile ("H") Processor, I can infer that you are using a gaming laptop, and, as such, cannot upgrade most components, barring storage and RAM. To get better performance in BeamNG, you will either have to get a new laptop or desktop with a better CPU and GPU, or reduce graphics settings and the amount of AI cars.
If you have AMD Adrenalin software, try turning off FreeSync or any other VSync option in there. And try to go into fullscreen on Beamng or switching it to windowed/borderless.

He's using an NVIDIA GPU. AMD Adrenalin is for AMD GPU's only.

(unless you are talking about the iGPU, but he is most likely using the dedicated GPU, in which the AMD software would be useless)
