Techdemo available
Please note that the techdemo actually supports DirectX9 graphics cards still whereas the game does not support it anymore.

You are invited to try our demo before you participate in alpha testing: http://wiki.beamng.com/Techdemo

Limitations: one vehicle only, one terrain, no mods, no parts changing.

Requirements: Windows 7, DirectX 9c installed

two things:
1. The techdemo users would like it if maybe you can add one or two maps and maybe two or three vehicles because it gets kind of boring with the covet only and that vehicle wont do the race tracks on grid map it is too slow... even a randomizer for the vehicle at startup would be great, maybe you can also add the wind feature and the parts menu so you can take the car apart and make it better for the dirt road with all the trees and bumps and rocks.
2. Nadeox are you the DEVELOPER?!?!?

Thank you for reading this.

1. The techdemo is meant to let you evaluate the software only. Like any other demo, it is limited. You can't ask us to put 3/4 of the full-thing features into the demo, it won't make any sense.

2. PR/Support/QA
true i guess i was trying to ask a bit much for a demo, thanks for the demo at least and i will buy the game soon. And nedeox i follow you on youtube and i love your police chases but i have a suggestion for that. PM me and i will say. ;)

I went to options ad clicked auto detect for graphics. It set all to high. Just to be safe, I clicked everything down to the lowest. STILL ran like ♥♥♥♥. I have a decent comp, too.

Do you mind telling the hardware specs of your decent computer? :)

Please post your OS and PC Hardware specification. Also check if your Antivirus is blocking anything BeamNG-Related.

I have a small question concerning the tech demo itself versus the alpha. Is performance any different compared to the two? I ran the tech demo at a good 100 FPS, and I'm wondering if any new features or stuff like that may hinder performance in the real thing.

By now yes. The techdemo is from February 2015 IIRC. A lot has changed in the game since then.

Thanks for the reply.
Nadeox, I have so much respect for you. most of the comments are either people demanding a mac port as if it was ctrl + c ctrl + v or demanding multiplayer. if i were you i would of killed a small dog with anger by now. Well done.
If youre considering buying the early access. try the tech demo first, to see how well your PC can handle it; its risk free, it gives you a good idea as to how well it can preform, and it also will show you if you really want to buy the full version or if youre not fully commited to it. Trust me I can save lots of money by this. BTW if youre lagging right away, set the graphics to the lowest: after a while youll get used to the low graphics, which honestly doesnt make the biggest difference in gameplay, and its still a lot of fun. I set mine to the lowest and got used to it in 3 days.

I'd like to try the tech demo because this game looks downright amazing, but I'd like to see if I really do like it (I've tried a few games in the past that I thought I'd love but didn't really feel it once I played)
But everytime I try to download the demo it says network error and this pops up: https://www.dropbox.com/s/zzy0uudycpq3qef/Untitled%20-%20Copy.png?dl=0
I just want to be sure that the download hasn't been hijacked.
Sorry if there is already something on this or if it is just my firewall acting silly.
Looks like it's a false positive. The download is clean.

Ok thank you, I haven't wanted to take chances seeing all the ways people are infecting devices... Downloading now!
