AI Car Racing Series?

Can you setup a car racing series and let the AI just race (competitively and fun) around tracks, with crashes etc and not interfere, so you get some sort of racing series... im happy to track points based on positions, but would love to see the cars just got at it, without me having to drive

If you can figure out hotlapping yes, i personally dont know how

extra ai race (a mod on the repo)
has a mode where you can just watch also

I set it to Flee or Random and that is like having a race, although Random, they tend to bang into each other at times. Still good fun though, especially with the Nurburgring track.
