Importing cars from Automation
I bought this game partially so I could try out my Automation cars... but I have no idea how to import them.
All the mentions I could find say you just export the cars from Automation, and that's it. But they don't show up in my beamNG list. Do I have to manually drag them all into the beamNG folder?

Whilst in the car editor in Automation, there is a tab at bottom far right of the screen that has Beamng's logo and is called export, when you click the tab you are brought to a showroom type area and UI that lets you name and export your car to beamng, just make sure you don't click save .car file, as that won't let you put it in beam. Hope this helps!

what do you do if the exporting works successfully, but there's no vehicle sound?

Try Re-exporting, or validate your Automation and Beamng files

Okay, that works! I had been exporting them from the Hall of Fame window (since my game is over and it has a complete list).
I should get them to add that info to the FAQ, because even googling I couldn't find that info.

Awesome! Glad it worked! That is a pretty good idea, I didn't even know it wasn't documented
