Beam.NG (the game you are posting about) has never had online multiplayer. You say the multiplayer tab is missing, but that was never part of the game you bought. That was added by a community "modification" shortened to "mod".
BeamMP is a multiplayer modification (mod) for BeamNG that adds that multiplayer tab to the game. When there is a new update to the game, sometimes it can take modification developers a few days or a week or two to update their modifications.
This might fix your issue:
Open BeamNG, and click on the "MODS" tab on the main menu. It's below "CAREER". When that opens, click on "I accept the risk, reactivate all mods".
you have 10 different people telling you how to fix it. did you manage to do it?
