How to place props like ramps how you want?
How can I angle ramps and stuff without just guessing?

F11 and move that object however you want?

If the ramp is a physics object, you wouldn't be able to change it's angle, as it would return back to it's original position
I don't understand the editor at all, how am I supposed to use it to rotate objects? Selecting stuff didnt seem to let me do anything with it
I should clarify that I cant' seem to select "vehicles". I spawned a ramp using the vehicle menu and I can't select it with the editor
In the editor, in the 'Scene Tree' list on the right side, you have to scroll down a bit and you will find an entity called 'PLAYER' or 'CLONE'. Click on that to select the vehicle/prop.
On the left side you will find the tools to move and rotate the object.

i wish this game had a thing where you could just simply drag the around like in rigs of rods

Stay tuned
When I use the move tool to move heavy objects, like the concrete barrier, it drops, like it slips from the grip og the mousepointer???
In some cases, the object drops thru the terrain and goes into an infinite drop from which it cant be recovered except if I delete it and spawn a new one.

What im trying to accomplish is simply loading a concrete barrier on to a trailer as I wanna do some heavy pulling with different vehicles.

I figure if I could either edit the weight or turn of physics for the concrete barrier while placing it, it would be a lot easier?

Sorry but your explanation is a bit confused.
If you want a more precise way to place objects:

- Pause the physics (J)
- Open the editor (F11)
- Move your object
- Close the editor (F11)
- Unpause physics (J)
We cant have you being confused, so heres a step by step description of the issue.

1. Open the world editor
2. Select a vehicle object
3. Choose the "move object" option
- Now three different colored cone-shaped arrows are displayed on the selected object.
4. Move the mousepointer to the blue arrow (the one pointing upwards)
5. Press and hold the left mouse button
6. While holding down the left mouse button, move the mouse forward (away from yourself)

Now the selected object now moves vertically upwards (away from the terrain) as long as you hold down the left mouse button and keep moving the mouse forward.

However, once you stop moving the mouse (but still hold down the left mouse button) the object doesnt stay at the mouse pointer, it drops and falls to the ground below.

Ille try and disable all the physics like you suggest, repeat the above steps and see what happens.

Oh that.
Yes, you need to pause the physics first.
If you keep the running, objects will not float in the air :)
Disabling physics worked like a charm. :-)

Well I didnt expect them to float with physics on, but I did expect them to stick to the mousepointer once grabbed. ;-)

None the less, its gr8 fun to fill a trailer with concrete barriers and have the truck work its *** off pulling it.....and then crash into a wall. :-P
How to you make a ramp stay put ? I placed one on highway and car simply pushed it down the road. Is the key making it static ? is that in editor or settings of objects in the general vehicle/object properties. Thanks !

It depends on what you want to achieve.
The 'Ramp' prop/vehicle has a flat base. For it to work correctly, you must place it on a flat surface, or the ramp will not sit correctly.
Also depends on what vehicle you are using, and how fast you are going to it.
If the vehicle is heavy, the ramp will not be heavy enough to stay still, and will slide.

If you need a fully static ramp, you need to look into Static Meshes instead. Some levels such as GridMap has ramps as part of their 'assets', so you can easily duplicate and move them around.
Other levels don't, so you'd need to import them from other levels.

where/how do I find and get OBJECTS/PROPS!!! I can't figure out crap. I'm asking about the editor by the way.

If you want to spawn physical props, you must do that from the Vehicle Selector (you have to close the editor first). Props are listed after the vehicles.
