Mods
I've been downloading mods for a long time for this game, but about everytime I launch it I have to go to the backup folder and put them back in the game because it keeps automatically removing them. Today, I tried to do that, none of my mods have worked, I deleted them all tried some new ones, and the same thing. It says "No configurations".I choose the vehicle and it's just not there.

have you tried any other mods that were made more recently such as the 8X8 mod released 2 days ago?, because it could be just older mods (just trying to deduce the cause)

No, i'll give it a shot though. Does your 1949 Cadillac still work?

You don't have to go through all that trouble. I'll just try some other new mods.

it would only take a few minutes to upload, but okay, let me know if newer mods work

Try this:

-Go do Documents/BeamNG.Drive/mods and find the 'db.json' file. Delete it. Then check all your folders/zip and make sure you don't have any empty folders/zip.

-Then, move your 'mods' folder out (put it on the desktop temporarily).

-Delete the 'vehicles' and 'levels' folder from Documents/BeamNG.Drive.

-Run the game, go past the menu and close the game.

-Move your 'mods' folder back

-Run the game and check if the mods are working.

Eventually, try the same process but try the mods 1 at the time.
If it still doesn't work, let me know.

"Then check all your folders/zip and make sure you don't have any empty folders/zip."
I'm sorry but I kind of lost you right there.

Oh, I don't know. Thank you guys for your help, but I don't even want to play this game anymore, i'm so frustrated with it. I really do appreciate your time with trying to help me though.

Make sure you don't have empty folders or zip located in 'Documents/BeamNG.Drive'.

And don't give up so easily. You paid for the game and I'm going to go on till your problem is solved :)

So, have you tried each step I posted above?

After I ran the game, I didn't have to put the mods folder back, it was already back in there.

I got it to work!...by doing it the old way. I went to Program Files x86 steam-steamapps-common-beamng.drive.-content-vehicles.

False Flag. the ONLY one that works is the 1959 Impala.
Nadeox1 Sep 11, 2015 @ 1:03am
Do not install mods in 'Steam/Steamapps...'

At the next update the game will move those out to prevent issue.
Mods must be installed ONLY in 'Documents/BeamNG.Drive/mods'.

This doesn't sounds ok.
If you moved the folder out, there is no way it got back there.
You did that correctly?

Yea, I moved it out. Started up the game like you said, then I closed the game, and when I went to go put the mods folder back, it was already there.
