Mods dont last more than one opening.
Not sure whats up, mods work after I download them and unpack them then, next time I open BeamNG all the mods dont work, they are inside the mod folder, and even pop up in game but when I choose a car no mods come up, hoping someone has had this issue and can help me resolve it, thanks!

You don't have to 'unpack' mods.

Simply download the ZIP and put it in 'Documents/BeamNG.Drive/mods'.
Nowhere else, and nothing else apart moving the ZIP in there.

Of course, if the mod says to unpack it to a certain folder you should always follow instructions.

Unless those instructions were written prior to the Mod Manager being incorporated...

I have 8 map mods and only 1 of them is so old that the Mod Manager can't handle it. I also have 12 vehicle mods, of which 3 are so old they must be unpacked. And I just had to eliminate 2 vehicles that don't work now whatever I do; one VERY old, the other was a port from another game.

The Mod Manager will still work if you unpack them, but you're just creating more work for yourself by doing that first.

Can you leave a link to one of those mods (hopefully they are on the forum..) so I can check myself?

This was one of the two that I removed. The wheels and chassis render but most of the skin and outside panels are missing now, packed or un-packed. It's the old Moonbuggy which hasn't been updated in over 2 years. :steammocking:

Oh well, it's one of the first mods ever made. I wouldn't be surprised if it stopped working properly..

Ya, I didn't get too bent out of shape over it. Darren's been tweaking his Rock Bouncer lately so that one is still good for crawling! :steamhappy:
