Is there a way to turn off damaged radiator smoke?

you can disable particles by going into the editor (F11), in the top bar click on "View" and go into "Visualisation Settings". In the pop up window click on "Visible" and scroll down until you see "Particle emitter", this will disable all the smoke and dust

i dunno if above still works or u could try this

Iv tried finding a solution for this in the past, but all I found was before talking down to the question and complaining/asking why would some one want that?
Much very helpful haha.

anyways

The only think I was only able to find was, you have to change the Emitters in the game presumably from the map editer, though I wasnt able to get anything to change the smoke amount on the radiator. I think on effect with tire smoke as well.
changing the Emitters in the map editer might only be changing the map settings

there's a mod that allows you to have your car invincible, including inside car parts

yea I have that mod, but I as well as Sneawy(I would gather) want to just turn down or off the smoke on damaged radiator

If you need to do it on the go, you can always dip your car in water!
AngryGamer1224 16 AGO 2022 a las 16:29
the best solution is to just get rid of your radiator
and as cmd stated, take your car for a swim if you need to

Select a radiator node, set to 100%, and rip it off.

thank you for a 'real' answer, instead of just removing the radiator or turning off the damage

I knew it was in the editor menu didnt work last time I tried, ill try again, the only post I found years ago on the BeamNG forum where just people telling you 'why would you want to do that' and just remove the radiator

Thank you RiChuF
