I honestly have no idea why. It makes no logical sense. The only thing i can even remotely think of is, for whatever reason, beamng has stopped playing nice with simagics software. And even then i cant think of a reason why a ffb setting would prevent my gpu from doing, well anything at all. I just know, fir some reason, it works and has worked every time.
Edit: Decided to play around some more, and turned ffb totally off. My FPS went to over 100 from the teens. Turned it back on and driving around freeroam im getting around 75-85fps pretty concistently, with some dips and gain fluctuations.
So, the issue seems to be 100% tied to ffb for some reason. Polling rate is currently set to automatic, but i may play around and set it to 300-400hz, which is around what most sims run i believe. Could be an issue where its defaulting way higher, as the options are there, and its freaking out the engine.
I have a 4070 ti super and i get also 10 fps on BEAM NG, and in all other simulation games , i'm over 150 fps ... i didn't found the solution and had desinstalled BeamNg.
I'm also on Simagic wheel, so I will try your tip this week-end.
Anyway, thank you for this new investigation way
