Legit mods, not sketchy websites. Go to the official BeamNG website or use the in game repository. Avoid other sites as the mods could be viruses or stolen content.

Nothing I was just trying to get real car models in the game but everything seems sketchy

Use only the beamng repo and forums for mods, don't use third party websites

OP, I believe what you're looking for is the link for BeamNG's main website: https://beamng.com/game/news/patch/beamng-drive-v0-33/
I'm surprised no one has posted it yet. At the top of the screen where it says "Community", there's a drop-down box that should say "Mods", click on it to take you to the mods page and the forums everyone's talking about. These are maintained and actively moderated by BeamNG developers and is safe. If you doubt this, I got the link from the the recent announcement page where the MD-Series was released. The link is located at the bottom of the page.

Modland uses stolen assets, most often of which are paid, which is a detriment to mod creators. These "really good car models" are usually just that and play or deform horribly, and you run the chance of the mod having a virus or something worse. CEO of air pollution is right to tell you to only use the Repo or the BeamNG forums.
