Theres a reason Burnout and this game don't have driver models - having a driver in such mangled wrecks could cause the game to recieve a high(er) age rating
Its not going to happen officially, there is a mod that adds a driver though. This has been sugested many MANY times and the answer is always the same, "no because it would raise the age rating."

Maybe some sort of a robot would be possible but i'm not sure how that age rating thing works.
But definitly A radgol driver won't work:P

What post #1 said.

Having a driver, and having it involved in a crash would be considered violence. We don't want that thing in BeamNG.Drive.

Come on, stop being ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. What you think underage kids won't buy game because there are ragdolls in this game or they'll follow ratings?

Its more of, will their parents let them get the game because of the ratings

This could be a nice tool to teach young people what the terrible results of car accidents can be without needing to shock them with actual gore and car crash movies/scenes.
Come on, add it in!!!! I remember the older version of flatout had drivers with ragdolls. And richard burns rally i think let you kill their drivers as well!

Its a ragdoll not a person! It should be in the game. The whole game is about driving and crashing and they haven't even added wipers or a freakin horn!

Thanks for the kind words.

And it's not me who decided that.
We have no plans in adding a ragdoll/driver into cars. Not because of kids, but because that's beyond the scope of our simulation.
This is not choice that is open to discussion I'm afraid.

I'd love to see something similar to crash dummy style injuries.
I get that the driver is sat at home on a PC.... and not actually in the car fuh real... but (and this annoyed me about Eurotruck 2); .....but I would like to see Arms/Hands on the Steering wheel before I buy..
Any chance of that?

Also, I would like human Sounds when there is a crash. Maybe even a Voice of a g/f in the passenger seat (or mother-in-law [in the back seat]) telling you to slow down before you crash and she is begging for Jesus to save her... or some such.

No human modeling involved (no age ratings); just Sound.

How often does a driver properly wearing a seatbelt get flung from a car anyways?
NoShotz Jan 3, 2016 @ 7:41am
not very often

Also think of the money you could make from industry when you get the actual physics perfected. You could demolish half of their multi-million dollar development costs. With design systems altering the thickness of the metal in the steel/alloy and vehicle shape; and human effects.... etc..

It could save lives; as well as attract more customers. Make it no blood/guts if you must, but at least have some relationship to reality.
