Wheel or controller

I'm trying to figure out if I should use a wheel or a controller

its more of personal preference. I personally like a wheel as i get more precise inputs...... and because i spent the money on it but I have friends that are able to whip a car like its nothing on controller.

I vote wheel as long as you already have one. Wheels are more or less mandatory for the sim racing games I play and they are helpful here also, but certainly not mandatory.

You don't have to set up the controller besides changing keybinds, worked fine for me. I personally would recommend a wheel, but I'm not obsessed enough with driving sims in general enough to buy a full wheel setup, so I just use an old 360 controller.
