they also said they'd never do vr support either
if it did happen it wouldn't be for another decade at this rate lol
Plus VR has grown quite a bit since the launch, but console gaming kinda hasn't with pretty poor or mediocre sales with current gen consoles.
"Ummm, Actually"
Modding on Consoles is fine as long as they go through a service. Snowrunner for instance uses Mod.IO, and since BeamNG uses its on baked in Repo, it wouldn't be a problem.
Plus, since no licensed vehicles are accessible through Repo (IIRC) they don't have to worry there either.
Bethesda.... well... their greed knows no bounds.
I do think we are quite a long ways from a potential console release though. updating a game on console seems to be literal pain. haha
Not for lack of possibility, but I do think the game would be a bit performance heavy on a console in its current state. ...Aaaand (like Snowrunner) they would probably have to lock the amount of mods you could even activate for the sake of performance.
Either way, we are certainly on the same page of on PS5? Not likely unless the game gets suddenly much much closer to 1.0 release.
