Game is unplayably bad

Lags alot if your on ultra settings (yes even on an rtx 4070) traffic is buggy and sometimes causes error messages (along with lag again) and vehicle ui is bad and same with vehicles themselves being buggy

i have an rtx 4070 Ti and playing on ultra gives me an erection, have a look at you nvidia settings, task manager priority and a problem ive had in the past is with Freesync and g sync so play around with your monitor settings. just when you change anything do it one at a time and retry so you can diagnose.

how would massively downgrading his GPU help in any way
4070 is in no way bottom end, it is roughly equvalent to the older 3080 so a 3060 would be a massive dongrade
also stem isnt even available on win XP and 7 anymore so that is also not an issue

i have basically the same setup just with ddr4 instead of 5
i get no fps issues and can comforably handle 90 fps on 1440p, even with traffic. sounds like you could have a bad install or an outdated mod causing issues. try launching the game in safe mode, verifying game files and if that doesnt work fully reinstalling the game and manually deleting your mods. also try using vulkan, it should improve your fps if you dont have issues with it.

i got 32g ddr4 ram, a 3060 12g, cup amd athlon. i get 60-100 fps on ultra settings w/o traffic. w traffic 40-70. I got about 20 mods loaded. about a 1.2k pc. There is something wrong with your pc dawg. all on 1440p

even with an i5 13600kf (which is reccomended to use for heavy gaming and paired with the 4070) i still get terrible lag and traffic cripples the fps

bro just use vulcan rendering engine when you boot up the game. I have a i5 and a 3060 ti and i can run the game on ultra with traffic with no lag at 60 fps. Just use vulcan and stop compaining
