I was looking for one a while ago and was advised that the Logitech ones seem to break between 3-6 months. I was looking at the G920 one but these are the ones prone to breaking.

Thrustmaster ones are much better as the pedals use magnets and the steering wheel is better. Someone said a T248 was a really good wheel and pedals set and coupled with the TH8S, you've got a really good setup, however I think these cost a bit more but people say are worth the extra money. :)

T248 seems like a much better deal than a G29 nowadays, so i'd go for that. Or maybe a t300rs, that's even better.

Just looking online, the GT version seems to have the 3 pedal set whereas just the t300rs has only 2 pedals?

I also wanna buy a wheel, is the T128 good? I'm on a budget of $250.

Not sure about that one. If you get one, you need one with force feedback otherwise it's pointless getting one really. We have second hand online websites like Cash Generator or Cash Converters and they usually have a good warranty on the items, so sometimes it's better buying from there because they're usually quite a bit cheaper than buying new.

I have well over 2000 hours on a g920 and its still doing well and i'm giving it hard time with ffb to 150 to 170% and it's enough to rip out of your hands in a crash. down side it's can be noisy.

Buy a used thrustmaster t300rs. Its way better than a logitech wheel and can be found for sale for lile 175 euros. Make sure it has the metal pedals btw.

If you wanna save money and get quality, please check for used T300 with shifter +metal pedals. And save up for a good wheel stand. If you just wanna have fun for a bit - get G27 or G29+, not the best immersion but enough to have some fun

the logitech ones are quite good for begginers
i use a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ driving force gt since 2008 and the fella keeps working good
imo the g29 family had better feel in contruction and pedals than the
T248 , but the t248 froce feedback should be a little bit better
if you can go directly to a t300 its a pretty decent wheel that can serve you for life if you didnt end up diving too deep into sim racing
