[SOLVED] Please help - Fatal error, GPU not responding
For some reason the game has started to crash yesterday, at various stages starting as soon as I spawn into any map, sometimes i may be able to drive for a couple seconds. I've never encountered this problem before, I've spent a whole day troubleshooting the game now and I cannot figure this out at all... I've followed the pinned topic, anyone got any suggestions please?

this'll sound stupid but is your gpu actually "enabled"? Like it might have accidentally had a 1 in a million chance of happening that its switched over to intergrated graphics?

I don’t know if this is helpful

I’ve checked the MSI app & the GPU is set to discrete rather than hybrid, so this unfortunately won’t be the issue

I’ll give this a go now, seems strange (though it wouldn’t surprise me) as the only driver update I did was roughly a week ago & the game worked fine for a couple days afterwards. Anyways thanks for the suggestions

OP mentioned that things tried to render in too quickly thus causing his GPU to crash, I don’t think this is my issue as this happens on the plain grid map whilst spawning in the default stock pickup vehicle, thanks for the reply though

Okay so I've found the issue, it appears that BeamNG doesn't like when you Overclock past a certain point. In my case, within the MSI Center app, under GPU OC options If i exceed 110 MHz Core Clock Offset then my game will just crash my GPU and in some instances even cause my laptop to restart. It seems VRAM Clock Offset does not have the same effect.

PSA - If BeamNG crashes your GPU, turn down/off any overclock settings.
