How is the controller support?
Does it play well with Xbox One controllers, and with Steam Controller? (Deck too?)

Thank you.

I have a wheel now but used an Xbox controller forever. It works fine.

Yes! either controller works fine for me. I was going to hook up a PS5 controller and see if that works too! It will no doubt...

You can play it on steam deck on low settings, this game is exceptionally resource intensive.

Too twitchy (and that's playing with off roach vehicles, only), but there are settings in the Options sections, where you can adjust.

I use an Xbox 1 controller and when it's connected it's great. Sadly the smallest movement of the cable disconnects it and when that happens the game takes whatever input was last given and amplifies it to 100% until it's reconnected.
Meaning you can be on the edge of a cliff and if your controller disconnects, you'll be full throttle rolling down the mountain and you wont be able to do anything about it until it reconnects at the bottom of the hill.
Sure you can blame the cable for disconnecting or you can blame the game for taking the last input and pinning it to 100% when there's no input device connected.

Works perfectly with Xbox/PS controllers, only needs a few keyboard binds to complete the experience

You can pair a controller over Bluetooth if you're having cable issues, but you're looking to spend money anyway the PS5 and XBox Series ones both use the more reliable USB-C rather than the flaky Micro connection.
