Steamdeck BeamMP issues.
I was following a video on how to install BeamMP on linux but in the terminal I could'nt put in my sudo password, it simply wouldn't let me type anything else but enter. this happened only after it asked for my sudo password. Any ideas on how to get around this or any other ways to successfully install beamMP on steamdeck?

You should not need sudo to install BeamNG.drive at all you should just install it normally via Steam, where is this video?

ProtonDB has people running BeamNG without major issues (not everyone though):

This is for the 3rd party Multi-Player mod BeamMP?

Was it this video you were referring to? :

How to Install BeamMP ON LINUX

But the author (Joshua Holmes) says its deprecated (no longer maintained/being defunct). :/

And does not point to a working solution.

This one on reddit appears to be working and does not require sudo:

Although one of the comments say it only runs at 15-20fps on a deck. :(
