Launcher options

A while ago I clicked always start in regualr mode on beamng now i got a vr and i want to play but i cant play with it being in vulkan mode but i cant get the launcher options back to start in vulkan mode rendering the game completely useless and I looked up everything I could to get it back but there is no clear answer and this ♥♥♥♥ is pissing me off.

Right click the game in your Steam Library and choose properties. Input -dx11 in launch options field and try to launch again.. That may or may not work but it will make your game launch in Dx11 rather than Vulcan.

EDIT: If you are wanting to launch with Vulcan then substitute -dx11 with -vulcan.

i tried that before and didn’t work, but what i did do was go into the files and start it from a .exe and it gave me the popup. Thanks for the reply though 🤞

Right-click the game in the Steam library and open its properties (Or use when using a shortcut go to its properties and locate the Target line).
Add the launch option without quotations: "-gfx dx11" (and for completeness "gfx vk" for wanting to use Vulkan).
