Are you online when you launch the game as that's the only thing I can think of that might not record the hours you're playing on it?
Oh yes I see now, sorry about that. I don't know as I've never used that myself.
I would probably guess not as it doesn't run through Steam does it?
I know you can add programs that aren't actually Steam installed but wouldn't know how Steam would be able to record the hours you play on it, but it's a nice question to ask though.
Maybe the creators of BeamMP might know the answer, or may be able to fix it so it records the hours to Steam?
Usually it's a case of telling Steam where the file is that you run.
It should look something like this...
C:\Users\(User)\AppData\Roaming\BeamMP-Launcher\BeamMP-Launcher.exe %command%
Obviously Your username should be in place of (User)
