I would still celebrate a hardcore mode in which you have to or can replace every damaged part of the car after a crash.
And you need the 500 credits to repair only the bodyshell if it's broken.
That might sound very "over the top" at first, but I think that it would bring immense immersion, especially for BeamNG!
Also being able to import cars from Automation and have them show up as random used cars for sale would be amazing.
I think something similar is planned because in the test version I saw something about extensive repairs…
It would also be nice to do delivery of cargo and be able to freely choose the ammount of cargo so that sometimes you would drive overloaded.
- the engine and brakes in challanges could be preheated, but not at the start of the career or the after repairs etc.
- Realistic change of daytime on by default
- Purchasing of vehicles from random people and sometimes it could end up being really bad deals. Also some system of buying cars so that finding an old car or exclusive model with low mileage would mean something.
- Not all parts should be available to purchase all the time and maybe some parts or other could be found by exploring the map, like in hard to reach places or something like that.
- Paid recovery option, but also option to own a trailer and go recover the vehicle using your other vehicles
- Police on for delivery mode
- Option to disable virtual arrows
- Maybe ability to help ai drivers. There have been situations where ai drivers were stuck and I could have helped them with my SUV
- Some kind of driver damage system so that instaling protection cage would make sense
- Sime kind of anual race that the player has to prepare for in real time, similarly to events in stardew valley
Finally a open world driving sim for VR.
This is just the beginning, can't wait to see what they come out with.
