Relocate Mods folder

Hello, I am asking on behalf of a friend (he is too shy to ask for help on the forums), who has an issue with the following:

By default, the mod folder is located on the System/C drive. If he wants to add custom mods and cars the game, he can place them only into that one specific directory, located in C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\BeamNG.drive\0.30\mods. However, my friend has a very limited capacity in his System/C drive (the drive is only 100 GB(yes, that's low, I know)) and he cannot allocate much space for extra mods...

Is it possible to relocate the mods folder to a different drive, and then let the game know that the directory of the mods-folder has changed?

hi! haha literally as u launch the game click on the "manage userfolder" :) from there u can choose a new drive! just dont pick the same path as the game's. cheers!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's never a dumb question because someone asked a question on another forum and I thought "I never knew that" so just because someone doesn't know the answer, ask on here and there'll be someone out there that knows it. :D
