but vulkan did a great job before... fr

Tried on an NVME, a SSD and an older HDD. Same with all of um.
I think its an AMD issue but who knows. Most people saying the VR is working great seem to be using Nvidia cards.
I've also tried 4 sets of drivers from the newest going back through to the last 3 older ones. Same issue. :(
Edit: Thought I should add - I recently reinstalled windows around 2 weeks ago. So my system is pretty clean in that regard. No issues with other games, and the non-vulkan renderer works fine.
"Fatal-ISV assert failed at file:
D:\jenkins\workspace\gameengine\build\gameengine\engine\graphics\backends\vk\vkdevice.cpp
Line: 679
Message: 'Failed to find a suitable Vulkan Device'
Click Ok to shutdown"
I have re installed the game and still get the same error, I am on the most recent build of the game as of 8:09 EST. I have no idea what to do from here. Could someone help?
what's your GPU? some older cards doesnt support vulkan at all as far as i know
for me there's basically huge lack of performance/stability with both Dx & Vulkan
idk whats the matter here
btw today vulkan ran bugfree at both VR and flat hmmm
For VR I get stable 90fps on medium settings and no supersampling.
The one thing that can really break the game is to need more Vram than you have available, and thats a real problem because aparently the game has not been able to flush cached memory, so it only goes up with every map you load and every vehicle you spawn.
Restarting the game for a map change has worked great for now. And that is something fixable from the devs side.
Another tip for vr players, do not use automatic resolution on steamVR, you might need to test whats the best value for you, but set the resolution to no more than your HMD native, and maybe even lower. That makes a huge impact on Vram usage. And again, restart your game after you try a new resolution to make sure the memory got flushed.

AMD user here 6900xt. I have had zero crashes in VR. I've probably put around 4 hours in the VR mode so far.
I had not played the game for a while before this update so i did a completely fresh install of the game and wiped all my user data and settings.
That said , it's alot of fun and it got me back to this game. Looking forward to better optimization and the experience to keep on improving.
