Running beamng skips launcher not allowing me to enter Vulkan

I've read about everything online I could find and really didn't find anyone with my issue that was on pc, steam deck users apparently commonly run into a similar issue but currently I am given no launcher options when I boot the game it just loads me right into the standard version main menu.

Right click on the game in your library and select properties. Does it have anything under launch options?

this is happening to me to does it just open then close right away

run the launcher manually: steam > right click beamng > manage > browse local files > double click BeamNG.drive.exe

tried that but nothing happens
