How do i use vr controllers in the new update?
How do i make it so i can use my vr controllers in vr mode on the newest update? (i have an meta quest 2) The developers mentioned that there was an interactive interior on vehicles but that you needed to use vr controllers. I dont know how to make it so the vr controllers actually work ingame, only my keyboard input gets detected. Please help.

If you turn on your controllers, they should be represented as a pair of blue dots in-game. Although I've heard reports of the blue dots not rendering for some people.

Regardless, if you move your hands towards any interactive element (such as a door handle), the trigger should fade from blue to green, and then you should be able to pull the VR controller trigger to activate it.

This feature has barely been tested, so it's possible some unknown bug prevents it from working in your particular case (here it seemed to work fine in our tests).

Ok, thanks. Can you use the controllers to drive the car, like trigger to accelerate and stuff, and can you use the controllers to simulate moving the wheel with your arms.

Is it possible to use Xbox controller in VR? Thanks for the VR support man, this is exactly the game VR needs if you ask me! You are doing the lords work

No, VR controllers can currently only be used to activate the cockpit triggers, door handles, etc.

Anything you can use outside VR mode in BeamNG.drive, you can also use in VR mode. There's absolutely no built-in limitations on that front.

Just as a feedback, the controllers are not working for me too, using reverb G2 with steamVR running openXR runtime.
Don't use steam VR for this first of all, use Vulcan mode when launching don't use the regular mode either.
