Actual cars.
Now before you go calling me dumb, hear me out. What if somehow, beam got some of the major manufacturers to submit their car to shows us how safe it is.

To do the physics modeling of a real car 100%, you'd need a computer 100 times more powerful. Basically, you'd need a server farm to run that. This game is as close as you'll get, for now. For that, I absolutely positively love Beam!
There's just nothing else like it. It makes GTAV look like something from the 90s with respect to car physics.

There are a few aspects about that.

There is a quite popular rumour going around games with licenced vehicles (GT6, Forza) where the devs are not allowed to insert too 'graphic' damage for the simple reason it's bad advertising for the car manufacturer. Not sure how legit that is, but it kinda make sense.

Surely doable, but licence costs. It's not the manufacturers that send you the cars, it's you that have to buy a licence from them. I highly doubt any of them would let you purchase a licence to smash their car and show any eventual defect (recalls the point above).

A lot of manufacturers (particularly Ferrari) won't allow their cars to be in games without them showing a positive representation of the car. This could mean making it stronger or grippier or faster than it should be and compromising realism

Yes unfortunatly people will be smashing well known vehicles, than saying well this car is best!

Yeah but I mean an abnormal situation. We wouldn't care if they made their cars a little safer than they really are. A little advertising for them and more/real cars for us.

We would care actually, and the Devs would care as well. What's the point in aiming for realism when it all gets thrown away when you add real cars

Mercedes Benz would be best. You see how they are picking even small developers such as the ones from Car Mechanic Simulator and of course Mario Kart 8. I'd wanna see new Benz's in the game. But of course make it as safe as the real deal! Also you gotta somehow implement safety features. In fact, where's the airbags?

You can get Mercades Benz cars in this game however they come from a Russian mod site so I wouldn't recommend them. BeamNG is a small company so they can't afford licences for real car manufacturers.

If their cars are safe enough they should just send us a to spec version and let us see if ourselves eh?

pretty much... *The dodge ram is not recomended for its flimsy frame.... The nissan rogue can fold in 2 seconds....*

btw dont buy a Nissan Rogue.... we bought two new transmissions for it and its still having acceleration issues. Pieces of the inside of it are breaking off... Just a terrible car. Automatic airbag seat thingy broke in 2 years of owning it

Get a Nissan Qashqai then, they are built in Sunderland so they are good quality.

lmao. Before I even get into the issues with associating quality car construction and the UK (as a Brit) I would like to point out that the chance of a Quashqai and a Rogue being assembled at the Sunderland plant is pretty much equal. Not all Quashqais are assembled at Sunderland, not all Rogues are assembled outside of Sunderland
