Can I run the full game on a Dell XPS 13?
I have the tech demo installed and it runs smoothly on the lowest settings, but I have heard the full game can be very taxing. Will I be able to run it on my laptop?

Dell XPS 13 9350 Signature Edition
Intel Core i5 6200U GPU @ 2.30GHz 2.40GHz
8.00 GB RAM
64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

I don't know much about computers and this is my first Windows PC in almost 10 years after having multiple MacBook Pros, so forgive me if this is a stupid question.

Thanks

The Intel Core i5 6200U is a dual core with hyper-threading (4 core) however this game does not use hyper-threading so it may struggle with bigger vehicles such as the Gavril T-series as they have as they have big beam structures. 8GB of ram is standard for gaming so that is fine as for the for the graphics, intergrated graphics just does not cut it in modern gaming, on all settings low at your native resolution you'll be looking at around 15-20 fps (unplayable). To get the best experience out of this game you should really start thinking about building a mid-range desktop gaming PC which will give you 10000 X better performance than your current laptop.

NOTE: If you can't afford to build a gaming PC but you want to play this game on your current laptop, please be aware that your laptop will thermal-throttle at some points while playing the game so expect to see drops in performance from time to time.

The processor will run it. give-take 30~35fps. Might not run the commercial truck better than 20fps though, but the cars should be smooth enough/
If the graphics arent smooth enough on low, enter the editor (windowed mode game, press F11), choose LIGHTING on the menu bar and switch to BASIC LIGHTING, the game will take a few seconds to refresh, press F11 again to exit the editor. Do this when playing on any map that's otherwise too slow. It's a decent CPU but it really isn't going to be able to do anything besides two vehicles. I hope you did not pay more than 500~800$ for that laptop.
LAPTOPS ARE NOT MEANT FOR GAMING, short of the like 3000$ top-end ones, anyways. If you get thermal throttling, buy a cooling unit for the laptop, it is nothing but a laptop-sized fancy pad it sits on with a fan in it to suck the air out of the notebook computer better.

In short you can't.
GPU is big no no
CPU is also a no no

I have a weaker laptop and it can play the first Flatout and Grid so... there ya go.

My HP Pavilion DV6 could run it at about 30fps on the lowest settings with up to 3 cars before win10 killed it and i swaped it to linux.
side note: My desk top has a better proccesor (core i3) but runs worse, my laptop only has an amd phenom 2 and half the ram
